you for booking your RYA Navigation course with us.
It is essentual that you have access to a set of plotters
and dividers.
You
will need the plotters and Dividers to measure distances
and plot navigation on the chart these can be purchased
on line or for £20 on the FIRST DAY ONLY of your
course.
We recommend the
following books to be helpful for your course, you do not need to buy all
of them but we strongly recommend the first one and the plotters and
dividers. We will have all these books available on the first day of your
course, after that they are available on our on line shop for the same
price plus postage.
Skippers
Pocket Handbook £9.95 This book is good value and packed with
lots of useful information for both Day Skipper and Yachtmasters.
RYA
Book of Navigation Exercises £13.65 This is a great book if you are going to miss
some sessions as it has two
extra charts, more RYA Questions and more importantly
the answers!

Book of Weather £13.65 this book explains the weather and is especially good
for Yachtmaster as there is a separate Weather Exam
at the end.

Book of Collision Regulations £5 These are the Rules of the Road with
explanations on how they affect us, written by the RYA.
Lights
and Shapes Flip Cards £5 These cards are an easy way to learn your
lights and shapes for the exam at the end of the course.
