RYA
Yachtmaster
a very prestigious qualification
This
is a full on course aiming to prepare you to beyond
Yachtmaster standards and requires you to be at the
level set by the RYA G15/98 logbook.
Course Aims: Prepare
you for the two day exam, put you through your paces/experience
various scenarios, offshore passage planning offshore
navigation We recommend that you read the RYA logbook
G15 Notes:
Requirement to gain RYA/MCA
certificate at end of exam: 50 days, 5 days
as skipper, 2500 miles in tidal waters and have logged
5 passages of over 60 miles including 2 overnight
and 2 as a skipper. In addition, students must hold
a SRC VHF Licence and a First Aid Certificate PLUS
pass the 2 day exam.
Theory Tune Up:
If you wish to get up to speed on the Theory,
or just revise the syllabus, a one to one session
with an experienced Instructor will be extremely useful.
The price is £200 per day in London or + expenses
at cost at a location within zone 2.
