the small print
In
these terms and conditions
"the Company" means Capital Sailing and
"the student" means the person in whose
name a booking is made be it a course or fun sailing.
Bookings
can be made by students filling in a booking form
("the Booking Form") from the companies
web site which is located at www.capitalsailing.com
("the web site") and submitted the Booking
Form to the Company at the address shown at the top
of the Booking Form. If the booking form is not filled
in a booking is deamed to exist when a payment is
made to the company. No booking is deemed to exist
without a payment from the Student to the Company.
The prices of the courses appear on the web site the
Student agrees to pay the stated price for the course.
50% of the course fee must be submitted by the Student
with the Booking Form for the booking to be accepted
by the Company and the Student agrees to pay the balance
at least four weeks prior to the start of the course.
If a cancellation is made by the Student more than 4 weeks before the commencement of the course the Student will loose the deposit. Cancellation by the Student within four weeks of the start of the course will result in the full course fee being paid by the Student
Cancellation after that date
by the Student will result in the full course fee
being paid by the Student. In the event that the Company
needs to cancel the course then a full refund of all
the monies recieved will be made to the Student. For
a multi booking event such as the Fastnet this will
be done on a pro rata basis.
Smoking is not permitted in the classroom or below
decks although if necessary smoking breaks will be
taken
Animals are not permitted in the classroom or on the
vessels
Bookings
taken with a credit card will be subject to a 2% bank
charge
These terms and conditions are governed by English
law and are subject to exclusive juristiction of the
English Courts.
