RYA Sea Survival Course
Prerequisite for RYA/MCA Commercial Endorsement

It is a well-proven fact that in the event of an emergency at sea, people who have received training are more likely to survive. The purpose of this course is to give a person who goes to sea in small commercial motor/sailing vessels the basic knowledge and practical experience of personal survival principles and techniques. You will learn about preparation for survival, lifejackets, search & rescue. You will also join a practical session in a swimming pool with a life raft. This course is a must for everyone who sails.

Would you know what to do if the unthinkable happens?

Prerequisites: None
Duration: 1 Day OR 2 Evenings
Venue: London OR Arrange a course at your office or your own venue
Price Includes: Course Notes
Price Excludes: RYA Book/Certificate, Lunch, Waterproofs (Foul Weather Gear) £10 on the day.

Please bring: The day consists of tuition with a swimming pool session. You will need a change of clothes, waterproofs that you normally use while sailing as well as your normal lifejacket. If you have an automatic lifejacket unscrew the cylinder and manually inflate for the pool session and replace the cylinder later. We do urge you to empty ALL of your pockets as the pool filters are quite sensitive.
