Plot the course and distance for the distance the log has run for the time taken This is your Dead Reckoning or DR
Apply the tidal direction and rate for the time you have spent in the tide stream This is your Estimated Position or EP
Remember to get the start position correct and put the tidal stream for the TIME YOU have traveled on LAST
